Which binding for which page count? Saddle stitch works up to roughly 60 pages — beyond that the fold gets bulky and pages creep. Perfect binding needs at least about 40 pages to give the spine something to glue to. Spiral and wire-O handle anything, and lie flat, which is why manuals and workbooks use them.
